For many years I have taken a bound drawing book with me when travelling. That might be for a long journey abroad or for a simple day trip out from home. For a long while the drawings and paintings I made in these books have existed alongside, but essentially seperate from my studio practice. But in more recent times there seems to increasingly a cross-over. As an acknowledgment of this fact I now plan to exhibit reproductions to the images alongside the more fully worked out studio pieces.
